As of Summer

GREETINGS friends.

This entry is the fruit of one such Bea Magat, who questioned my exposure of this blogger's address as my status message by saying, "why, you have a new entry?"
"No."
"Then why is this hyperlink your status message?"
"Umm." When it was, I am proud to say, the first time I posted my blogger hyperlink status message without updating it first. "Maybe for those who haven't read the latest post?"

So here, Bea Magat, is your new entry.

Last Wednesday, Bernice, Benj, my older sister, my younger sister and I went to watch Mission: Impossible 3 in Gateway. I'm not a big fan of M:I3, and even complained to my sister why hadn't we gone 3 days later so as to be able to watch the opening of X-Men 3: The Last Stand. Because honestly, I've had enough of Tom Cruise in this whole Tomkat issue.

By the way, their kid, Suri has this really funny story. An entertainment TV show host asked Tom recently:
"So, who does Suri look like?"
Camera on a smiling, inspired and serious Tom, silence......
"She's beautiful," he says to dramatically it made me laugh.
Hahaha!!! I don't know about you, but it's so funny for me how he's so happy and serious and you just don't know if he's joking or what. It's hard to explain. Sabi ngang sino kamukha niya eh! I almost wanted to say. It's becoming so comedy to me.

Moving on.
After the movie, I realized that my heart fell for one of the cast members of M:I3. No, not Tom Cruise, nor Jonathan Rhys Meyers, nor Billy Crudup. Someone else. To give you a clue, I fall for amazing people. *Reader checks cast listing of M:I3 and filters out the amazing one. Jackpot.*
I've had enough of MI:3, really.

That same day, Bernice, Benj and their youngest sibling Buck, stayed in our house and spontaneously slept over, and it extended for 4 days. Due to the limited supply of male apparel in the house, having my father being the only male, we dressed Benj in our most loose-fitting t-shirts and shorts, including some of my father's. Bernice had enough female species in the house to live here. She had all the clothes she wanted - in all sizes even. My older sister and younger sister being small and medium, and me, large. Buck brought his own clothes, in case you're asking. He's still here as I type.

Two weeks ago, I decided to give my skateboard a full makeover (yes, the girl thing) and I successfully made it the way I wanted it to be:

That's how it looks like now. Actually, only the top. The under is now tortured with unsuccessful pivots and break skids. That's why I took a picture. After it was done I almost didn't want to use it and buy a new one and just frame this instead or something. This is the skateboard deck design I dreamed of.
The original deck was like the normal deck. It had no grip tape, and it had a fire design similar to the car in Grease and in the Converse Chuck Taylors. It was helpful because you knew the front and the back. In putting the grip tape, I thought, what would be a better way to mark the front than by putting a reflectorized Rebel Alliance symbol!
Hence I made the under a familiar scene I took from episode 4. The classing x-wing versus the TIE fighter. I was even supposed to put laser shots towards the TIE fighter but then I'd need another color of paint, which I didn't have. So there.
In sandpapering the edges, I developed scratches in my knuckles. I even scratched out a scab from a previous wound in the thumb knuckle. Sorry! It was hard. It was painful, but then looking at it now made the pain all worth it. Har har.

Plug: SUMMER SCREAM SHOWDOWN 2 on MAY 20, 2006. 100pesos a ticket. PLEASE WATCH!

In Bea's stay she ended up cleaning my 2-year overdue study table (I did not use it last school year), Bea being allergic to mess. She's just so majorly annoyed with disorder and mess, or what we call obsessive compulsive. It's a disorder, you know. Disorder. Har har kidding!
Thanks to Bea, the Gibson guitar pick that was lost for 7 months was found! Ah... see what OC-ness can do. It can reunite old friends. And, I didn't realize I had so much accessories scattered in that drawer... hmm.. Thanks Bea! You're welcome to stay again ANYTIME! har har!

Hopefully I'll be able to watch X-Men 3: The Last Stand sometime before they stop showing it. I don't know how that's possible, having SSS less than two weeks away and our family beach trip this weekend.
I am really excited to see X-men 3. New characters include Beast, Angel, Juggernaut, Multiple Man, Omega Red, Callisto, Jubilee and of course, Jean Grey as Dark Phoenix.

Colossus and Shadowcat are considered "new," but if you watch the previous movies closely, Shadowcat was one of those children who was able to escape those men with the tranquillizer guns. She moved through walls. Colossus was the big kid who covered himself wth plates of metal and those tranquillizers just bounced off. He even had one line:
to Wolverine: "I can help you" [help the children escape]
Wolverine: "No help them" [the children]
Nakanaman.

I'm especially excited for the Juggernaut and Multiple Man.

Iceman is older now. He's the boy in Cadet Kelly, played by Lizzie McGuire, if you remember. Matanda na nga siya, babaero pa. He has this relationship with Kitty (Shadowcat) when ang akala ng tao sila ni Rogue. Hay nako.

From what I know, the founding members of the X-Men are Angel, Iceman, Jean Grey, Beast and of course Professor Charles Xavier. And yet it's only now that the movies are showing Beast and Angel. Just goes to show how movies are...

Speaking of which, I would also like to watch Pirates of the Caribbean 2: Dead Man's Chest. Because hello?! Why wouldn't I? Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom are there! It's like jackpot, man, 2 hotties in one ticket!

And also The Da Vinci Code. No one should steal this okay? My sister told me she's going to try to make a "Da Luna Code" to mock the aforementioned book/movie. Har har! Based on Juan Luna's Spolarium. har har! The title's already funny in itself.

And also Poseidon, which is actually a remake of the The Poseidon Adventure which was shown in 1972. It's funny that they got Emma Rossum in this movie. Having been Christine Daae in Phantom of the Opera, duh they needed someone who could hold her breath for a long time. Tudug tss!

And also Superman Returns. Superman/Clark Kent played by Brandon Routh. If you look at him, yes, he does make a good Superman. I know it's DC and it would be Marvel suicide to watch this movie but, you have to admit, Superman and Batman are the coolest superheroes of the DC comics. Superman's still better, though Marielle! Batman aint got no powers! har har

Okay, enough of my talking. So that's some of what I can publicly expose as of summer.

Yuow for now
